Eric is a solar industry pioneer and leader focused on creative solutions, driving excellence and innovation. Eric has held leadership positions in solar energy for over three decades in manufacturing, project development, and EPC. He founded Enable Energy (now BayWa r.e. Power Solutions), ran Sharp Solar for the Americas, developed the first large project in Jordan, and was board member and senior executive at PowerLight (now SunPower). Eric has been very active in product and solar mounting solutions, developing rail-free residential racking systems and flat roof mounts, which are sold internationally.
Eric developed the concept for a roll form steel module frame solution in 2019, formed Origami Solar in 2020 and built a world-class team of solar, technology and IP executives to advance design, engineering, testing and commercialization of a breakthrough solution that will deliver significant cost savings, substantial greenhouse gas avoidance, and installation and O+M benefits.
